The beautiful Barn Owl was once a common sight across our night skies - their ghostly faces and shrieking calls were familiar to the people of the United Kingdom and no barn or village church was complete without one.
Sadly, over the last 50 years, the countryside has changed beyondrecognition and Barn Owl numbers have fallen by 70%.
