Otters are found in most areas around the world. Unfortunately this playful mammal is under attack from fishermen who see it as competition for fish stocks, and from threats such as habitat degradation, disease and pollution caused by industrial discharge and urban and agricultural run-off.

Despite being protected by national and international law, otter populations are rapidly declining.

If you adopt an otter we can help to protect these wonderful animals.
