Adopt a Rhino
A combination of poaching and habitat loss has reduced the world's rhino population by 70% in just 30 years.
The rhino is killed for its horn. Made of compacted hair and keretin (fingernail-like material), the horn is used in many traditional medicines and carved into ornamental dagger handles. With the additional threats posed by deforestation and expanding agriculture, the future looks bleak for the world's remaining rhino populations.
If you adopt a rhino we can help to protect these wonderful animals.
